The differences between Japan and Indonesia

Indonesia is an archipelago which covers more than
17,000 islands inhabited by around 255 million people, a figure that makes
Indonesia the fourth country in terms of the country with the largest
population in the world. In addition, before the national framework was formed,
the regions in Indonesia experienced separate political and economic histories,
a situation that is still visible in the current regional dynamics.

The national motto bhinekka Tunggal Ika ( Unity In Diversity ) Refers to the country’s diverse composition. This motto also shows that, even though it is a multicultural society, there is a feeling of true unity in the minds and hearts of the Indonesian people.

Meanwhile Japan is and East Asian Island nation. Japan consist of 6852 island and makes it and makes it an archipelago. most of the islands in Japan are mountanious. some of them are volcanoes. Japan has a populationof 128 million people. and is ranked in the 10 most populous countries in the world.

According to traditional mythology, Japan was founded by emperor Jimmu in the 7th century BC. Emperor Jimmu started the chain of Japanese monarchy which has not been broken until now. However, throughout it’s history, power was actually in the hands of the membersof the court, the shogunate, the military, and into modern times, times, in the hands of the prime minister. According to the Japanese Constituation of 1947, Japan is a constitutional monarchy under the leadership of the Emperor of Japanese parliament.

And here some differences between Japan and Indonesia :
1.  For Japanese people time is money.
therefore
Japanese people really appreciate the free time they have to do activities that
are beneficial to them, such as reading books, jogging, cooking, and doing
other hobbies. And for the Japanese at that time it was something they really
appreciated, even if it was 1 second the Japanese really appreciated it.
Because for the Japanese, that 1 second can determine the next thing. Unlike
Indonesians, most Indonesians do not realize that time is a very valuable thing
so that Indonesians underestimate time a lot.

2. Japanese people are very disciplined.
The point of small thing like queuing for example. being japanese from an early age has been instilled for discipline. Because for them discipline is very important, discipline in term of time order, tidiness and cleanlines are superior things that they  always apply in their daily life.
And in Indonesia itself, discipline is the thing that applies if there are officers who supervise it.  in terms of qucuing for indonesians, there are still many who lack patience, until the random action is a common sight.

3. Japan is known as very clean country.
although in japan there is no slogan ” Cleanliness is a part of faith” they are very concerned with the meaning of cleanliness, for Japanese people cleanliness is the main key to comfort first. Therefore, in every corner of Japanese cities we rarely see garbage. and we can distinguish it from the Indonesian state which even has its own motto.

4. Japanese people are good at shorting things that they think are not important.
Even though Japan is a producer  of sophistivated electronic goods, they are very far from having a high lifestyle there. Japanese people are good at sorting things that they think are not important. they are also known for being super duper thrifty. it is different from Indonesians, who buy new items immediately, regarldless of whether they are important or not.

5. Japanese people often feel ashamed if they do not excel, especially state officials wh are caught curruption. the term harakiri ( Suicide by stabbing a knife into the stomach ) is japanese culture that is praticed by someone who is proven to have made a serious mistake or failed to do his job. and also in japan when an official is found to be corrupt, he will realize and immediately resign because he feels embarrassed. try to differentiate with our country. maybe for the Indonesian population, corruption is one way to fame.

6. Japanese people are accustomed to living independently even though their income is large, since childhood japanese childern are trained to live independently and do everything themselves. if Indonesia uses the services of housemaid it is commonplace.

7. Cleaners In Japan are highly valued, even paid a very large nominal. it is said that cleaning workers in Japan are paid approximately 50-80 million per month. here we know that the janitor is not paying attention to his welfare.
